Strange Engineering Returns to the Mid-West Drag Racing Series in 2024
TULSA, OKLAHOMA - (January 17, 2024) The Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series (MWDRS) welcomes Strange Engineering back for the 2024 season. Strange Engineering has been a household name in drag racing since 1964 and is an important component, vital to many racers throughout all levels in drag racing.

Strange Engineering is headquartered in a 120,000-square-foot facility located in Northern Illinois and has been a leading manufacture of high-performance driveline and suspension components since 1964.

MWDRS will showcase 8 events throughout the 2024 racing season, beginning March 15-16 at Xtreme Raceway Park in Ferris, Texas. The MWDRS then heads to a new track for the series, Pine Valley Raceway in Lufkin, Texas April 19-20, and a crowd-favorite, the Spring Throwdown in Tulsa May 10-11. The series returns to a brand-new venue, Flying H Dragstrip in Odessa, Missouri May 31-June 1. The return to World Wide Technology Raceway in St. Louis June 28-29 caps off the first half of the season. Following a summer break, the series returns to US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Michigan September 6-7, followed by a return visit to Flying H Dragstrip September 20-21. The season concludes at the Fall Thowdown in Tulsa October 18-19. All races will be streamed live on FloRacing, allowing for maximum exposure for our MWDR series racers as well as our valuable marketing partners.
